SDCC’12: Zenescope Entertainment announces convention plans

Zenescope Entertainment is proud to announce its plans for San Diego Comic Con 2012. The company will be appearing at Booth 2301 right inside of the C entrance of the convention center. The #1 issue of the much anticipated Wonderland ongoing series will be launched at the show and in celebration, Zenescope is giving attendees the first opportunity to get their hands on a wide variety of brand new Wonderland merchandise. The impressive list includes limited edition exclusive covers by superstar artists J. Scott Campbell and Eric Basaldua, limited edition Wonderland sketch card packs, a limited edition Alice in Wonderland action figure and the highly anticipated Wonderland board game with the opportunity to play a demo at the Booth! Signups for the demo will be available at the Zenescope booth all weekend!

KICKSTARTER: Zenescope reaches animated series funding goal

Zenescope Entertainment is proud to announce that Grimm Fairy Tales the Animated Series Kickstarter project has reached its goal of $175,000 on Sunday, April 29th. The project, based on Zenescope’s popular Grimm Fairy Tales comic book series created by Joe Brusha and Ralph Tedesco, will be directed by Jon Schnepp (Metalocalypse, Venture Bros.) with Titmouse, Inc. handling the animation.

KICKSTARTER: Zenescope adds more talent to animation project

Zenescope Entertainment has announced that renowned artists Bill Sienkiewicz and Alex Pardee have joined on the Grimm Fairy Tales Animated Series Kickstarter project. The Kickstarter project is in its final two weeks of funding and is looking for a goal of $175,000.

Zenescope lands Lena Headey for animated series

Zenescope Entertainment has announced that actress Lena Headey, star of the immensely popular HBO television series GAME OF THRONES, will be joining the Grimm Fairy Tales Animated Series to voice the lead character, Sela Mathers. Lena’s extensive resume includes her role as Queen Gorgo in 300 and as Sarah Connor in TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES. This announcement comes on the heels of another talented actress, Briana Evigan (Step Up 2, Sorority Girls, The Devil’s Carnival), having joined onto the project last week.

GAMING: Zenescope Entertainment announces Wonderland board game

Zenescope Entertainment has announced plans to release a board game based on its Wonderland series. The gameplay was designed by Matthew Wang and Brian David-Marshall, the team who worked on The Walking Dead board game  (based on the comic book) and the award-winning Twilight board games (based on the movies).  Art/graphic design was handled by Zenescope’s in-house graphic designer, Christopher Cote. The game is planned for a late summer 2012 release. The Wonderland comic book series was created by Joe Brusha, Ralph Tedesco, and Raven Gregory and is one of the company’s most popular series.

WONDERCON’12: Zenescope Entertainment announces Wonderland ongoing

Zenescope Entertainment has announced plans to publish an ongoing Wonderland comic book series. The new ongoing series is scheduled for a July 2012 release with issue #1 set to debut at Comic Con International in San Diego.  The series is being developed by Raven Gregory, Joe Brusha and Ralph Tedesco, the same creative team behind Zenescope’s hit mini-series such as Return To Wonderland and Alice in Wonderland.
