Maybe it was because the movie was already long enough, or maybe it was just too expensive to get Nightcrawler to breakdance, but now we can see three minutes of the X-Men visiting a mall from X-Men: Apocalypse.
Marvel’s Death of X series seems so meta – the X-Men taking on the Inhumans in an all out brawl for it all. It just seems to be a weird commentary on the continuing struggle between the two movie properties, and reported rumors that someone at the top of the Marvel publishing side wants to do away with the X-Men.

I read with interest that CW Seed is going to have the first TV show, albeit an animated one, that features a gay lead hero, The Ray. They’ve had quite a bit of success with Vixen, an African-American female hero, so I’m happy to see them moving in this direction as well.
