Those who liked the 1968 sexy space flick Barbarella starring Jane Fonda may either jump up and down in joy, or anger on the announcement that a remake of the film is in the works. Joe Gazzam is writing the script, with Robert Luketic signed to direct. “Barbarella” centers on a female mercenary who roams the universe of a distant future, undertaking missions that require fearlessness, ingenuity and sensuality.
