World War Z
Max Brooks wrote a clever, and rather brilliant book called World War Z. Now Brad Pitt is in a movie of the same name. Or, to be more accurate, in a movie set in the same world. This is undoubtedly the biggest zombie movie to date, but is it any life to it?
The film stars Brad Pitt as Gerry Lane, a retired U.N. employee who must travel the world to find a way to stop the zombie pandemic that is defeating armies and collapsing governments. Is World War Z the biggest zombie apocalypse film of all time? We’ll find out Monday when the official numbers are released, but until then, we want to know what you think of the film. The Brad Pitt starring “World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War” adaptation has a new poster that shows destruction and mayhem. Will this sway the minds of the fans of Max Brooks’ novel? I’m thinking not.
The Brad Pitt starring movie had problems last summer, much like G.I. Joe: Retaliation, by heading back out to location for reshoots after the film had announced its wrap. Set backs have been done away with and now World War Z has its first official poster. Check out the zombie dog-pile after the jump.
The much plagued production of the novel-to-film adaptation of Max Brook’s World War Z is starting to put out promotional items. The first footage found it’s way online and the first teaser poster is also here. Take a look after the jump.
