GAMING: Jon Finkel a really nice guy

Jon Finkel may have the last word when it comes to who is worth your time or not.  Wizards of the Coast has announced that Jon Finkel will compete in a three day tournament and donate all his winnings to charity.

Recently, Finkel announced via twitter that he plans to donate his winnings from this weekend’s tournament in Philadelphia to the newly-formed Gamers Helping Gamers, a charity that provides college scholarship and mentoring programs to members of the Magic: The Gathering community. Finkel is one of the founders of Gamers Helping Gamers, and sits on the Board.

The event is going on this weekend at the Philadelphia Convention Center.

OPINION: M:tG Welcome to Modern

…Anyway Wizards of the Coast is apparently aware of all the love that game (by the now famous Bioware game studio) has garnered over the years. And so for the first time WoTC has dedicated a whole supplement detailing the Jewel of the North.

…which has been hit by a meteor.
