As any comic fan knows, Marvel just loves their events. It seems like every year we are getting a new company wide, multi-series spanning, universe altering event from the House of Ideas. This year’s (or 2013 for you future people) is Age of Ultron, bringing back the infamous automaton (and notable Avengers villain), Ultron! Who doesn’t want an Ultron action figure?  It’s one of the figures that make perfect send to add to the Marvel Select line of toys, and Diamond Select Toys and Gentle Giant are bringing the figure to toy shelves in August.

Review: Mighty Avengers #25

For pity’s sake, will you all just leave Henry Jonathan Pym alone! He has been around for close on half a century now and he has never, ever had a fair shake from anyone. We all know and appreciate that Stan’s winning formula was to put all of his heroes through an emotional mill, but Hank seems to be the dog that everyone likes to kick and I’m getting totally sick of it.

Top 100 Graphic Novels and Trade Paperbacks for March 2008

piechart.jpgDiamond Comic Distributors has sent Major Spoilers the rundown of the top 100 trades and graphic novels that shipped in March 2008.

Not surprisingly DC’s Batman Killing Joke Special Edition Hardcover took the number one spot with its new coloring (which I like quite a bit). Manga favorite Naruto came in at the number three position, with Marvel making its first appearance at #6 with Spider-Man One More Day Premiere Hardcover. DC came out on top trade wise goes taking the number one and number two spots on the list and also garnering a third position in the top 5 with DMZ.
