[Movies] The Uglydolls are getting the film treatment
The Wife and I first encountered the Uglydoll in 2003 or so, and fell in love with them at first sight. The characters have been around since 2001, and have appeared in movies, but have not had a movie of their own. Until now.

MOVIE: Uglydoll to get animated feature film treatment
I’ll admit to discovering the Uglydoll a couple of years after they became extremely popular. The wife fell in love with them, and now The Boy is slowly starting to find amusement in creating stories involving the stuffed toy. Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures have joined forces to develop an animated feature length film on the line of products created by David Horvath and Sun-Min Kim.
