Mark Webb has certainly become a fan of Twitter using the site to tweet out teasers for Amazing Spider-Man 2 in its early stages of principle photography around New York. Yesterday was day three of shooting and the director sent out this image.

MOVIES: The Wolverine shoots in August

We know that the next Wolverine movie takes place in Japan, and has the potential to feature the Silver Samuarai, but what fans don’t know is when the movie begins production.  Hugh Jackman took to Twitter this weekend and let everyone in on the production.

MOVIES: Marvel announces Avengers Twitter Chat

Marvel Studios announced today that they will be sponsoring a Global Twitter Chat on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 11 a.m. (PST) with cast members and the director of their highly anticipated action-adventure “Marvel’s The Avengers,” opening in theaters on May 4, 2012. The 30-minute live tweeting event features writer/director Joss Whedon and cast members Tom Hiddleston and Clark Gregg.

FOLLOW FRIDAY: Chris Ryall reveals scratch-off cover

If you aren’t on Twitter, you are missing out the latest breaking news from your favorite creators and artists.  Chris Ryall, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief at IDW Publishing has revealed that G.I. Joe #8 will feature a scratch-off cover revealing the new Cobra Commander.

That’s kind of a cool gimmick to get people to at least stop and check out the book.  I wonder how many jack-wads will end up scratching the cover off in the store without buying the book?

Goeff Johns confirms Aquaman Series

Once Geoff Johns finishes his love affair with the Flash, the DC scribe will turn his attention to Aquaman. That’s the news filtering out of WonderCon, and Johns’ own Twitter post.

Announced at Megacon: After BRIGHTEST DAY I’ll be moving over to a new book – AQUAMAN #1 coming later this year!! :)

So, anyone want to take bets that we’re going to see a total revamp and return to the Silver Age version of the hero?

 

TELEVISION: Elizabeth Hurley is big bad in Wonder Woman series

There are several reasons to get on the Twitter; you get to see what kind of antics Rodrigo, Matthew, and I are up to, you can see a revolution play out in real-time, and you can stalk follow your favorite celebrity.

Those who follow Elizabeth Hurley spotted a tweet a few hour ago, where she announced she will play Veronica Cale, the pharmaceutical industrialist, as the villain in NBC’s Wonder Woman pilot.

Thrilled to be doing the NBC pilot Wonder Woman. I'll be playing the evil villain. Can't wait.

Wonder Woman is written by David E. Kelley, and stars Adrianne Palicki.
