DC has announced Tiny Titans #12 is getting new content to tie it into the Faces of Evil month at the company.

In this special “Faces of Mischief” issue, see what happens in the average day of the faculty of Sidekick Elementary as we follow the antics of Principal Slade and Trigon. The Tiny Titans have their own ideas of what goes on in the Teacher’s Lounge — but how close are they to the truth?

Trigon – yup, that’s a good one for the issue.  The content origingally slated for the issue has been bumped to lucky number 13, scheduled to arrive in February.  Tiny Titans #12 is expected in stores on January 21.

Marvel Sneak Peek: Eternals Annual #1

01picon.jpg

It’s a knock down drag out fight between the Young Gods and the Eternals, in the pages of the Eternals Annual #1.  I doubt this is going to be a whole Death of the Young Gods saga, but the sneak peek Marvel sent to Major Spoilers sure make it look like someone will live, someone will die, and the universe will never be the same…AGAIN!

Oni Press Sneak Peek: Labor Days

01picon.jpg

I like the tag Oni Press is using for the upcoming Labor Days title – Revolution has a gigolo, and his name is Bags.  Bags just happens to be a down on his luck slacker, who’s stumbled across a mysterious videotape, and it’s up to him to find the truth.

The graphic novel is by Philip Gelatt with art by Rick Lacy.  Oni Press has sent Major Spoilers a sneak peek of the 144 page black and white comic that arrives in October.

The Stranded Picked Up by Sci Fi Channel

thestrandedpicon.jpg

Yes, another SciFi programming story from the meet and greet Tuesday night. The network has picked up Virgin Comics’ The Stranded for a possible series.

Creator Mike Carey will be developing the story for the Sci Fi Channel.

With The Stranded, Mike challenges ordinary people to face the extraordinary – their lives are lies. Every memory is false. Startling events cause them to confront the truth, that they are, in fact, “stranded” on Earth after a horrific genocide in another galaxy.

“From day one,” Carey says in a prepared statement, “working on The Stranded has felt like being at a nexus point of creativity. Virgin and SCI FI created the perfect platform, and then supported the book and the creative team through all the stages of development. This feels like something we all own, and we all love. I can’t wait to take it forward into its next incarnation.”
