This summer, Top Cow Productions will launch a huge limited crossover series featuring the cybernetic killers of Cyberforce, and the Ultra Sapiens of Hunter-Killers. While the storyline is being kept a secret, we do know Mark Waid will be writing with Kenneth Rocafort providing all the art.
“I can’t wait to work with Kenneth again,†said Waid in a prepared statement. “He blew my mind when I first saw his Hunter-Killer pages during the first run. To be brutally honest, it’s rare that I see a new artist whose work doesn’t feel redundant or a clone of something else already out there. Kenneth’s energy knocks me out.â€
“This is a dream come true to draw one of my favorite teams of all time, Cyberforce,†said Rocafort, who was a fan of Top Cow books well before he started drawing for them. “And to combine that with the characters of Hunter-Killer, which I love to draw, and working with Mark again, this is an exciting project for me.â€
Take the jump for a Cyberforce/Hunter-Killer pin-up and character sketches from Rocafort.

More of the same isn’t always a good thing
We are now officially month into DC’s year long Trinity event. Issue 4 proves Superman is the saviour, Wonder Woman wants victims to save themselves, and Batman can still scare the crap out of people.
If you put your comic books down and pick up next week’s Sports Illustrated, you might be startled to see Bizarro making an appearance on the cover.
The cover, by comic book superstar Mark Bagley, takes a look at the “Bizarro Baseball Season†and features a member of the Tampa Bay Rays knockin’ the stuffing out of everyone’s favorite Yankee, Derek Jeter. Despite the headline, this marks the first time a DC character has appeared on the cover of SI.
If you aren’t into sports, you can catch Bagley’s work in DC’s new weekly series Trinity.
