I wish I could count how many different mystery stories I’ve given up on because I either knew who did it right away or frankly didn’t care. A poorly done whodunit? Now THAT’S a crime! Not long ago I reviewed the debut issue of Prey for Angels from Think Alike Productions. As of Wednesday, August 19, both the first and second issues of this gripping mystery are available at the comixology.com website, making it the perfect time to jump on board!
When a notorious serial killer strikes terror in Paris, they call on Scotland Yard to help bring the murderer to justice! It’s murder mystery just the way I like it, so I’m chatting with writer Kristian Fraga, producer Benjamin Charbit, and adapter Ruben Romero about Prey for Angels, a Think Alike Production comic you just might see in a theater near you sometime soon! We discuss the miniseries and its creators as well as how you can access this terrific comic miniseries! To download your copy, go to comixology at this link! I do love a great mystery! And one that involves one of the most reviled killers in history is sure to get my attention. Prey for Angels seems to move the story from the murderer’s familiar surroundings while mixing in some possible supernatural elements as well. I loved it!
I always think it’s a great thing when comics professionals work together, and my three guests this week are doing just that!
More and more, people are turning to digital comics to get the variety they want in their reading. This week, The Agency #2 is available mostly through comixology.com, which is where you can also get the first issue! I first discovered this excellent title at Florida SuperCon in Miami Beach recently. The book’s creators had a booth there, and they did a great job getting the word out about it, and I’ve enjoyed it ever since!
This week I have a great time chatting with Ruben Romero, one of the creators of The Agency, a great comic book about an orphan who catches the attention of an international organization dealing with magic. It’s a very professional independent comic with great story and art, and you can find out more by going to thinkalikeproductions.com! The first issue should soon be available on Comixology, with the second on its way in the near future! Ruben talks about making the series come alive with co-creators Bethany Romero, Roger Cabrera, Ross Hughes and Eric Koda, among other things. Don’t miss
