CBS has announced that tonight’s episode of Supergirl is being postponed due to the terrorist attacks in Paris. Instead of canceling the show for the week, it is moving the Thanksgiving episode up a week.

It’s time once again for many of us who contribute and work for Major Spoilers to sit down and share what we are most thankful for this year.

If you are like us, you’ve already filled your belly with turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and cranberry sauce. While I like fresh, homemade cranberry sauce, it was my grandfather who taught me you can appreciate cranberry sauce from a can. I also remember that after eating at my grandparents house as a kid we would all pass out in a Triptafen induced coma, until my grandmother called us all back to the table for pumpkin pie. Everyone at Major Spoilers is taking a little time off this week to spend time with family, friends, and fans, so we thought we’d take this moment to share what we are thankful for this year.

There are two holidays that really get to me.  The first is Halloween, because we can dress up without fear of community lash back, the seasons change and the environment explodes in a deluge of colors, and we get to scare the crap out of one another for a good laugh.  The other is Thanksgiving (bet you didn’t see that one coming).  This is a time that we get to give thanks for what we have, what we can look forward to in the coming months, and years, and a chance to eat more food in a single sitting than

Here in the U.S.A. we are currently loading our guts with turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, warm dinner rolls, and cranberries fresh from the can.  We then plan on spending the rest of the day in a Triptafen induced coma while visions of superheroes, Santa Claus and Black Friday sales drift through our heads. From all of us, to all of you, here’s hoping your holiday is a fun one.  And if you live outside the U.S.A. take a moment to give thanks to all the good things that have happened in 2012.

We’d post a picture of the Major Spoilers crew doing the whole Norman Rockwell thing, but quite frankly, most of the turkey never made it to the table, as it was plucked clean by a certain Major Spoilers contributor… For those celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday, here’s hoping your day is a great one.  For the rest of the world, we’ll make sure to eat an extra slice of pumpkin pie for you.
