GAMING: New batch of World of Warcraft commercials arrive

There’s a new batch of celebrity based World of Warcraft commercials that are currently airing on a television channel near you.  This one features Parks and Recreation’s Aubrey Plaza telling you about the time she dumped her boyfriend.

TELEVISION: Rifleman headed back to television

There are few television intros that are super memorable. The Rifleman was one of those intros…

Yup, Chuck Conners was pretty cool rockin’ the Winchester 1892 and not taking guff from nobody.

Of course that was waaaaaay back in 1958 (to 1963), and most of us have probably never seen a single episode, but that isn’t stopping CBS from digging into the vault and resurrecting the property as a new series.  Chris Columbus is set to executive produce and direct the series.

TELEVISION: Walking Dead picked up for third season

AMC announced today the renewal of “The Walking Dead” for a third season. Season two continues to deliver the strongest telecasts for any drama in basic cable history against Adults 18-49 shattering a basic cable record set nearly 10 years ago for a single drama telecast (“The Dead Zone”). “The Walking Dead” is based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman and published by Image Comics. Glen Mazzara serves as series’ showrunner. Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, David Alpert and Frank Darabont are executive producers. Greg Nicotero is a co-executive producer.

SNEAK PEEK: Green Lantern: The Animated Series

TELEVISION: Darth Maul returns?

I know it sounds really weird, but LucasFilm has indeed announced that Darth Maul will return to the Star Wars universe this spring on Star Wars: The Clone Wars.  Why is this weird you ask? Because Maul died in Episode One while The Clone Wars takes place between Episode Two and Episode Three.
