TELEVISION: Peter Panzerfaust coming to the small screen


Image Comics just released the fifth issue of Peter Panzerfaust on Wednesday, but the series has impressed enough people that the rights to a television series have been picked up. There are even talks of a double dose of the adaptation.

SDCC’12: The CW teases more Arrow

The CW is teasing Arrow pretty hard at the San Diego Comic-Con, and we’re seeing more clips and pics arrive for the show. From what I hear, early reactions to the show are positive, but I’m going to reserve judgement until I have a chance to see it for myself on October 10, 2012.

SDCC’12: Firefly returns to television in November

There is a really interesting Firefly panel going on this week at the San Diego Comic-Con, and while we wish we could be in the packed hall to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the show, the Science Channel has fans covered.

TELEVISION: Legend of Korra gets second season

We’ve been waiting for official word, and now Legend of Korra fans can rejoice – Nickelodeon has given a big thumbs up for a second season.

But here is the item most didn’t put together until recently – Korra is coming back next year as Season 1, Book 2, so this announcement really means there will be Season 2, Book 1.

Oh, yeah… three awesome story arcs for one of our favorite animated shows.

TELEVISION: The Batmoblie documentary debuts Monday

The broadcast network premiere of the new half-hour special on the history and evolution of the Batmobile – THE BATMOBILE – will air on Monday, July 16, 8:00-8:30pm ET on The CW.  An encore of the special will air from 8:30-9:00pm ET.

SOLICITATION: Archie meets Glee in latest crossover series

Archie Comics, the leading children’s comic book publisher in the world and home to some of the most recognizable pop culture characters, including Archie, Betty and Veronica, Jughead, Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Josie and the Pussycats, announced plans with Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products for ARCHIE MEETS GLEE, a four-part comic book storyline that brings the cast of the hit FOX television series face to face with Archie and the gang. The story is expected to kick off in 2013.
