With multiple sell-outs of issues, fans are eagerly anticipating the next stage for the World War II escapade inspired by the classic J.M. Barrie creation Peter Pan. Now the fantastic independent series by writer Kurtis J. Wiebe and artist Tyler Jenkins is set to engross an even larger audience, with Adjacent Productions’ and Quality Transmedia’s fully animated motion comic adaptation, featuring the voice talents of Elijah Wood, Summer Glau, Ron Perlman, and Dante Basco.

CONVENTION: Wizard World Philadelphia welcomes Summer Glau, Nathan Fillion and more to show

“Castle” Star Nathan Fillion, fellow “Serenity” and Firefly headliner Summer Glau, Eisner Award Hall of Famer Stan Lee and WWE® Superstars John Cena® and Daniel Bryan® are at the top of a standout roster of celebrity guests scheduled to appear at Wizard World Philadelphia Comic Con, May 30 – June 2 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.  It is the third in the 2013 series produced by Wizard World, Inc. (OTCBB: WIZD) and will also feature a top-drawer collection of well-known artists and writers and a variety of activities, exhibitors and special attractions.

Official: Superman/Batman: Apocalypse next DC Universe animated movie

Yesterday, we hinted that the new DC Universe animated movie would feature the Supergirl storyline from the Superman/Batman series.  Warner Home Video makes it official today with the official press release, and news that Summer Glau will voice Kara Zor-El.

Shirley Manson Set for Sarah Connor Chronicles

Shirley Manson, the lead singer for Garbage, has been cast as recurring character Catherine Weaver in Fox’s second season of Sarah Connor Chronicles.

The Weaver character is described as the CEO of a “cutting edge technology company”, which I hope means high-tech hardware and not Web 2.0 startup vying for attention from Michael Arrington.

I have yet to watch a single episode of the series starring Lena Headey as Sarah Connor, Thomas Dekker as John Connor, and Summer Glau as terminator Cameron Phillips. Is it good, bad, or just something to sit back and fill the hour between other network shows?
