Bluewater Sneak Peek: Gearz
This June, Bluewater Productions will release Gearz #1, from 10th Muse creator Dan Rafter. It sounds like a really cool concept that would make any kid the most popular in school – Karen Chugg wants a dog, but instead ends up with three kick-ass robot bodyguards.
Writer Dan Rafter said, “the story is about Karen Chugg’s, an unpopular kid at school who suddenly finds three cool robots on her doorstep. Lauren goes from being practically invisible to being part of the ‘in’ crowd. This book is fun because it has everything: lots of action, lots of comedy and even a little bit of drama. I think we can identify with Lauren, who struggles with the fact that her newfound popularity isn’t due to anything that she’s done. Of course, there’s also chemically enhanced monsters, a corrupt president of the United States and a half-mad assassin robot programmed to destroy Lauren’s new metal buddies.”
Bluewater has slipped a sneak peek of the series, that you can see after the jump.
