LEGO Star Wars is like when you got your chocolate in my peanut butter, but without chocolate or peanut butter.Â Still, I’ve always liked this toy franchise, and when Mike Stimpson takes a mini-fig Stormtrooper and turns it into a work of art, it warrants being featured in this daily site segment.

Film School Rejects has a tasty bit of information regarding a new Heavy Metal movie; James Cameron, Zack Snyder, Gore Verbinski, and David Fincher have all signed on to direct segments.Â If this is news is solid and true, then count me impressed.Â In addition to this this, Mark Osborne and Jack Black will also direct a comedy segment for the film, with two more directors to be announced later.
Either this is going to be one long ass movie, or the segments are going to be incredibly short.Â I just hope everyone takes the spirit of the comic magazine and the first movie and brings all the R-rated goodness to the silver screen.
The anthology series from Boom! Studios takes a bit of a twist this issue with three tales meant to astound and amuse, but all feature a world affected by Cthulhu and the other gods of the old age.

Hope everyone enjoyed the Major Spoilers Behind the Scenes Shows we ran this past week to celebrate the 2nd year of the site.
