The website Vulture has an interesting rumor posted that Disney is considering monkeying around with Dave Stevens’ The Rocketeer again, going so far as to possibly reboot the property for a whole new generation to enjoy.

I don’t really believe this, but thought we should pass it along for your own edification. Andrew Kreisberg, writer of the Fox series Fringe, reportedly has turned in a pilot script based on DC Comics’ Booster Gold character.

In an interview with TrekMovie.com Robert Orci, one of the writers for the Star Trek sequel, let slip that Captain Christopher Pike has been written into the script. Though Bruce Greenwood didn’t sign a contract for a sequel, he has expressed interest in returning to the film.
So does this mean we’re going to see a big screen adaptation of The Menagerie? Though we know the Klingons are supposed to play a part in the movie, how interesting would it be to see Peter Weller playing a Talosian?

TELEVISION: Locke & Key heading to MTV?
It’s a big stretch to take the small tidbits of information from the Deadline website and turn that into a full fledged claim that MTV is interested in producing the Locke & Key television series, but the Intardwebz is all hot over this, so why not go along with the crowd, offering our own information? According to the article, a DVD screener of the pilot was sent to MTV programming chief David Janollari, who apparently liked it. And who wouldn’t have you seen the trailer? It’s awesome!
Other than the DVD screener that was sent from Fox to Janollari, there has been no other movement, and I doubt anything will happen.
