Marvel has released a sneak peek of X-Men: Gold #1 that arrives at your local comic shop in November.
There’s an all-new adventure of America’s bronze goddess of freedom appearing right now on the LIBERTY GIRL webcomic. And it’s a collaboration between the Liberty Girls’s creator, DENNIS MALLONEE, and comic book legend ROY THOMAS!

Dynamite Entertainment has sent Major Spoilers a sneak peek of its titles arriving in stores this week. Take the jump for The Lone Ranger #14, New Battlestar Galactica: Ghosts #1, and Giant-Sized Red Sonja #2.
I loved reading those illustrated comics as a kid, and I am digging what Marvel is doing to resurrect the idea with its Marvel Illustrated line. The next classic the company is putting out, is Homer’s The Odyssey, and the company has sent Major Spoilers a sneak peek.
Even though it was only announced a few weeks ago, the first Red Sonja teaser poster was released at San Diego Comic Con. Originally scheduled for 2010, it looks like we might see the movie a year earlier than expected. I’m still not convinced Rose is the best She Devil with a Sword, but if she can bring life to the Roy Thomas and Barry Windsor-Smith creation, and do it right, then I’ll see it.
It’s official, Rose McGowen and Robert Rodriguez are indeed set to work on the Red Sonja movie. For those of you who made it through the latest Major Spoilers Podcast, where we talk to Mark Finn about Robert E. Howard (creator of Red Sonya), the story direction of the movie is now perfectly clear; this is definitely going to be Roy Thomas’ Red Sonja than Howard’s creation(s).
Full press release (and plenty of Red Sonja images) after the jump
Who doesn’t love reading the classics? Now, who doesn’t love reading classic works of literature in comic book form? Marvel has been cranking out the classics in its Marvel Illustrated line, and next up is Alexandre Dumas’ Three Musketeers.
Marvel Comics has kindly sent Major Spoilers a sneak peek of the series that arrives June 11, 2008.
Marvel Comics has sent Major Spoilers the cover images and solicitation information for titles shipping in August 2008.
