It’s a special episode of the Wayne’s Comics podcast, with two great interviews!
First up is Dean Haspiel, one of the creative forces behind The Fox at Red Circle/Archie Comics. We talk about this successful series, including how it came to be and how unique this title is compared to other comics available today. If you aren’t reading it, now’s the time to get on board with this excellent title!
I interview Dennis Culver next, and we chat about Edison Rex, a great book available through Monkeybraincomics.com, one of my favorite producers of comics! Dennis chats with me about the upcoming 12th issue in the series, and what that milestone means to the creators! He also points out some fun Easter eggs for fans you can find in the book, which I highly recommend!
Both The Fox #2 and Edison Rex #12 will be available on Wednesday, December 4, so don’t miss them!
No episode next weekend due to the celebration of Thanksgiving, but I’ll be back the following week!

Red Circle Comics, the super hero imprint of comic publisher Archie Comics, is excited to announce an innovative new direction for the digital and print release of the groundbreaking New Crusaders series. Earlier this year, New Crusaders: Rise of the Heroes marked a return to super heroes for the publishing house that helped found the medium over 70 years ago. As the first story arc draws to a close on the New Crusaders App, and following the transition to print this past September, Red Circle Comics is once again moving forward in the digital comics frontier with a bold new digital distribution strategy for 2013 and beyond. Beginning in December, fans and new readers alike will have access to classic content, new adventure, and everything in between.
Or – “Okay, Digital Distribution… Let’s See What You’ve Got.”
Thanks to a pretty canny marketing campaign, Archie has had me quite excited about the relaunch of the Crusaders, so excited that I’m willing to venture into entirely new forms of multimedia to get these stories… How does the first issue pan out?
