SDCC’12 COSPLAY: Prometheus Cosplayer

Wondered how long it would take for some of the summer’s big movies to make an appearance at the San Diego Comic Con. Here’s a great take on one of the Engineers from the Prometheus, though I have no idea why there are a bunch of sexy scientists getting their picture taken with him…

If you’re at the show, and have a camera, send us your favorite Cosplay pics!

TALK BACK: Prometheus

It’s Friday, and that means new movies are in the theater. The one we have been super stoked about for the last couple of months has been Ridley Scott’s Prometheus.

A team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.

Did you see the movie?  We want to know what you think.  Share your thoughts and ideas – your likes and dislikes – and answer that all important question, “Aliens prequel or not?”

GO!

MOVIES: Behind the scenes Prometheus featurette

June 8 can not come fast enough, as I’ll be at the earliest showing possible for Ridley Scott’s Alien/not Alien prequel/not prequel Prometheus.  Collider snagged a pretty cool featurette with a lot of behind the scenes footage from movie.

Russell Alert in full effect.

TRAILER: International Prometheus trailer clocks in at 3-minutes

I hope 20th Century Fox doesn’t release as much promotional material as Disney did with The Avengers.  I’d much rather have bits and pieces dished out as a slow buildup.  Of course if the studio wants to release more three minute plus long trailers, I’m not going to complain too much.

TRAILER: Yet another Prometheus trailer arrives

My head is spinning over all the movies coming out this year.  With the rising cost of theater tickets I may have to get a loan from the bank to see them all. And when the lender asks why I need the money, I’m going to show them the latest trailer for Prometheus.

Oh please let there be an unrated extended director’s cut version of this film that arrives on DVD.
