The longing to play Pokemon X & Y has yet to subside, so I was l looking through the Internet seeing all the fun the lucky amongst us were having when I stumbled upon some more Pokemon art. deviantART user seiryuuden posted a great image of the three new starting Pokemon that just needs to be shared.
This past weekend saw the release of the two latest installments in the Pokemon game franchise with Pokemon X & Y. While many lucky gamers spent their weekend starting their new adventure to catch them all, I was not so lucky. To settle my sadness I looked over the Internet for great Pokemon fan art, so today’s Art Appreciation Moment of the Day features Arkeis and his work of the three new starting Pokemon.
Nintendo announced a new product today, the Nintendo 2DS. A new addition to the Nintendo 3DS line, the 2DS will be able to play all of the games available to the 3DS with the same online capability without the use of the 3D function. This allows Nintendo to set the initial price-tag of the 2DS at $129.99, making it a bit more affordable than its fully three dimensional counterpart. The system will launch on Oct 12, just in time for the next generation of the Pokemon franchise, Pokemon X and Pokemon Y, to come out week later. Check out the announcement trailer below.

Yesterday, Nintendo made their first official announcement of 2013, the next generation of Pokemon. After the jump we’ll have the official English Trailer and some information on the game itself, some of which is a huge first.
My parents were always adamant about us not having portable gaming systems, but when Pokemon Blue and Red came out my brother and I went on a year long pleading spree until we finally got some Game Boy Colors and a copy of each. Since then my interest in Pokemon has waned, but I’ve always kept the game in my thoughts. Which of course leads to analysis, which leads to contemplation of things that bother me about the game.
So I sat down and thought to myself. If I was given control of the Pokemon franchise, what would I do with it?

FinalCutKing generally releases one new video a week, with a behind the scenes bit that shows off how the effects in their videos were done… kinda. The latest video was too good to pass up, especially when it is targeted at all our Pokemon fans.
