Lloyd Levin, the producer behind Watchmen, has nabbed the rights to Terry Moore’s Echo comic book series. “Echo” tells the story of a photographer who is preoccupied with her personal problems until she gets doused by liquid metal from a military experiment gone awry. She discovers she can now harness the power of a nuclear bomb, and soon the military wants its walking weapon. With the rights now in hand, finding writers, directors, and actors can begin. via Variety (Thanks for the tip Gaumer)
Let’s return to the days of the cold war… Batman Confidential has had a lot of ups and downs for me. On the one hand the series gives DC a chance to tell origin stories about Batman and his villains, tech, and history, but on the other hand, DC canceled Legends of the Dark Knight (I know, I’m a broken record). With the holiday weekend upon us, what better way to show our patriotism than having Batman take on the Russians, or more specifically, the KGBeast.
