Top 10 Animated Show Opens of All Time

Cartoons are awesome, and a big part of cartoons is that show open. Superman flies around, cheetara beats up some mutants and Ash tries to catch some pokemans, all while some rockin’ music plays. This is not a list of ‘the greatest animated shows’ just the greatest opening sequences! What follows is a list of animated show intros, each more awesome than the last.

Pole Dancing Ninjas are the best kind of Ninja

In case you haven’t been paying attention, geek culture has invaded the adult industry in a big way.  We’ve I’ve seen Batman XXX, and can’t wait to see what Superman XXX and Star Wars XXX porn parodies bring.  Then of course there are all the sexy Halloween costumes that walk the line between cool, beloved tribute to the characters and trashy whore out for a night on the town.  And let’s not forget Star Wars Burlesque… yes… Star Wars Burlesque…

But when it comes to ninjas, the sexiest we’ve I’ve seen is Psylocke, (though there is an adult series from Japan that is pretty good). Of course, if you want to see a real pole dancer get her ninja on, take the jump and watch her whip out her sword halfway through her performance, it’s like, ten kinds of awesome.  And there’s no nudity… or is there?

On The Next Major Spoilers Podcast: Sinfest

sinfest.jpg

This week on the Major Spoilers Podcast, the Major Spoilers Crew is taking a deep long look at Tatsuya Ishida’s most awesome webcomic Sinfest.

From the Wiki:

The subject matter of Sinfest is often human nature, with particular attention paid to sexuality and religion. Less frequently, the strip will parody popular culture or indulge in political commentary. There are some recurring types of strip, such as “You Had to Be There” (where the reader is not told what the characters are discussing), “Japanese Calligraphy” (where one of the characters transforms over four panels into a kanji ideograph, usually related to the strip in some way.), “Porn Script Readings” (where Monique and Slick read porn star dialogue in deadpan style, except for once where they used flash cards for a Silent Film reading) and “Ninja Theatre” (where the characters take on the roles of heroes and villains in a martial arts movie). Though there is little in the way of overarching story or continuity in Sinfest, the central characters do undergo some development.

The Major Spoilers Podcast is nothing without comments from great readers and listeners like you.  You can use the comment section below, drop us a voice mail by calling (785) 727-1939, or record your comments and send it as an MP3 file in an email to podcast@majorspoilers.com.
