Spider-Man stunt leads to world record

During the New York Comic Con, Marvel Comics invited attendees to sign a giant birthday card to celebrate Spider-Man’s 50 years in comics.  The stunt paid off in a big way, landing the company, the character, and everyone who signed the card in the Guinness World Records book.

TELEVISION: New Marvel animated series set to premiere on Disney XD

Disney XD will premiere two highly anticipated animated series on the Marvel Universe programming block, “Marvel’s Avengers Assemble” and “Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.,” it was announced today by David Levine, Vice President and General Manager, Disney XD Worldwide and at New York Comic Con by Jeph Loeb, Marvel’s Head of Television.
