Valiant Entertainment sent us a sneak peek of Shadowman #6 that features Master Darque trying to escape from the Deadside.
New York has been carved up into sections controlled by violent gangs who will stop at nothing to protect their turf. In this chaos, a group of not-quite-heroes in funny outfits find themselves caught in the crossfire. Warring factions as well as shadowy forces behind the scenes conspire to use and/or kill them, while the anti-heroes try to run the gauntlet to return to their home. It makes a good movie, but will it make a good comic?
(Just go watch The Warriors, OK? I’ll wait.)

AAM/Markosia sent Major Spoilers a sneak peek of Starship Troopers #9 that features three stories in one issue.
Three stories, linked over two parts by writer Cy Dethan, with guest writers Tony Lee (Doctor Who) and Christian Beranek (Willow Creek), and guest artists Neil Edwards, Scott James and Jim Boswell. It’s the Vandals versus the Tigers in a race to save the federation against the Civilian Militia — but who are the Reaper Cell and what is their connection to SICON?
“When Harry [Markos] asked me to come on board to co-write the story, my immediate answer was ‘yes’,” says Christian Beranek in a prepared statement. “Now, I don’t do a lot of licensed comics or work for hire books, but Starship Troopers is one of my favorite franchises. As was the case with writing the origin of John Doe for Se7en, I had a blast helping define a new element in the ST universe: the psychics! Expect some mental carnage, for sure.”
The first installment of Triple Threat arrives in July, with the conclusion hitting stands in August in issue #10 of Starship Troopers.
