Tonight on Parks and Recreation comedian Patton Oswalt will make an appearance as a Pawnee citizen attempting to filibuster a city vote. During filming the director told him to just ad-lib for a few minutes about whatever he wanted to. What happened next was roughly an 8-minute pitch for Star Wars VII featuring Boba Fett…and Thanos?

MOVIES: Monsters University announces complete voice cast

Disney•Pixar’s “Monsters University” welcomes some of Hollywood’s top stars to its roster of voice talent for this summer’s frighteningly funny comedy adventure, opening in U.S. theaters on June 21, 2013. Joining Billy Crystal and John Goodman are Steve Buscemi, Helen Mirren, Alfred Molina, Dave Foley, Sean P. Hayes, Joel Murray, Peter Sohn, Charlie Day, Nathan Fillion, Bobby Moynihan, Julia Sweeney, Aubrey Plaza, Tyler Labine, John Krasinski, Bonnie Hunt, Beth Behrs and John Ratzenberger. Also revealed this week were the story and screenplay credits. Directed by Dan Scanlon, “Monsters University” features a story and screenplay by Daniel Gerson & Robert L. Baird (“Monsters, Inc.”) and Scanlon.

CONTEST: Audi and Marvel launch contest where fans craft Iron Man’s next adventure

Audi, along with Marvel Entertainment, LLC, announced the launch of its digital Iron Man “Steer The Story” comic book contest in support of the brand’s presence in Marvel’s Iron Man 3 and overall involvement with the film franchise. The contest, which officially launched last week, gives Marvel’s Iron Man 3 fans the opportunity to become a co-creator and to decide what happens to Tony Stark in the Audi and Iron Man comic book by voting via social media sharing.
