Warner Bros. has announced that the writing trio of Greg Berlanti, Michael Green, and Marc Guggeneheim have been hired to write a treatment for the film adaptation of DC Comics’ The Flash. For those wondering which Flash will be featured, one only has to look to the current Chief Creative Officer, Geoff Johns. Yes, it will be Barry Allen, the character Johns is all soft and mushy for.

Even though the Ryan Reynolds’ Green Lantern movie is a year away, Warner Bros. has already committed to making a sequel. It’s kind of a no brainer these days to have a three picture deal when dealing with big properties, and unless the movie really tanks (Superman Returns) it’s a sure bet something else is in the works. For Warner to go ahead and announce that Greg Berlanti, Michael Green and Marc Guggenheim are now writing a treatment for the second film gives me hopes that the first film is full of awesome sauce.

We’ve seen Alfred Molina in the trailer for Disney’s The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, and today, the studio reveals all the information about Maxim Horvath, The Villain.

Showbiz Spy is running a story claiming H’wood insiders are talking that Kim Kardashian really wants to play Lara Croft in the next Tomb Raider movie.
“Kim is wanted to play a far more comic-strip version of Lara which would be shot in 3-D and aimed at a teen audience.”
Now that Megan Fox has been kicked to the curb, we’re going to need someone else to feature every other week on Major Spoilers in the form galleries, rumors, and other mindless stories featuring half-clad female celebutard in an attempt to link-bait the unsuspecting 13-year-old to the site.
What do you think dear Spoilerites? Would you want to see Kardashian as Lara, or is someone in H’wood just wishing up the wrong wet dream?
If this really is a teaser trailer for a new upcoming Mortal Kombat movie, then sign me the hell up right now!
Check out the stars making appearances – Michael Jai White, Jerri Ryan? My guess this is something for E3 and the upcoming MK game that features a really hard Mature rating. But if this is a movie tease, then once again – SIGN ME THE HELL UP!

Wolverine. Cyclops. Jean Grey. Beast. Storm. Prof. X. Iconic members of one of Marvel Comics’ most widely recognized super teams, the X-Men. Every one of them born with amazing mutant abilities, banded together in an effort to save a world that hates and fears them. I’m here to tell you today…
Not a single one of them are in this film.
Instead, we get a guy with a bad Irish accent, a woman with ill-defined psychic powers, a Latin stereotype, and a group of bland supporting characters kinda-sorta against a bargain-bin Jim Carey. Take the jump, and let’s get this over with.

Casting announcements are flying out of H’wood left and right as production continues to crank up for Captain America: The First Avenger. The latest news has Neal McDonough and Stanly Tucci in the roles of Dum Dum Dugan, and Dr. Abraham Erskine respectively.
Also of interest are McDonough comments about the military unit, The Howling Commando, and the role they play in the film. According to McDonough, the team may undergo a name change before shooting begins. Dr. Erskine was a German scientist behind Project Rebirth, the secret experiment that created the Super Soldier known as Captain America.
Joe Johnston is directing the film staring Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, Hugo Weaving, and Haley Atwell.
