Marvel sent Major Spoilers a sneak peek of Deadpool #21 by Gerry Duggan, Brian Posehn, and Mike Hawthorne, that arrives in stores on December 18, 2013.
Deadpool, the merc with a mouth and a sizable fan base, has been given the Marvel NOW treatment of having a completely new creative team; a team which has kept the book going for nine issues now, with no end currently in sight. As we all know, something does not have to be good for it to sell well, so does Deadpool have the quality to match the quantity? Find out, after the jump.
This April, Wade Wilson makes a deal with the devil (sort of) in Deadpool #8, kicking off the all-new arc from the blockbuster creative team of writers & comedians Brian Posehn (The Sara Silverman Program), Gerry Duggan (Attack of the Show!, Infinite Horizon) and superstar artist Mike Hawthorne (Conan)! As part of Marvel NOW!, Deadpool takes no prisoners, as the industry’s top creators join the top Super Heroes to deliver all-new ongoing series, great for new and veteran readers alike!
April is looking to be a big month for Marvel with all the switch-ups on creative teams across their books. With Iron Man 3 coming out early in May it makes sense for the company to transfer movie buzz into comic sales. Anyways, today’s first teaser from the House of Ideas is Deadpool screaming for ice cream.
I stumbled across Mike Hawthorne’s Deviant Art page, and though I was looking for one specific image, the plethora of great art had me spending way too much time looking at his gallery.
