SOLICITATIONS: Aspen announces sixth 10 for 10 title

Aspen Comics has announced their sixth title in their successful “10 for 10” initiative is the Aspen flagship title, Michael Turner’s Fathom. In accordance with the 15-year anniversary of the title, and a planned summer crossover leading into the new series, the All New Fathom #1 will feature a new direction for the series and an excellent jumping-on point for new readers. From writer David Wohl (Legend of the Shadow Clan, Executive Assistant: Iris) and Alex Konat (Fathom, Mindfield) and Beth Sotelo (Fathom, Shrugged), the All New Fathom #1 will debut in stores on July 24th.

VARIANT COVER: Aspen Comics shows off Shrugged variant

Aspen is continuing to celebrate the publisher’s tenth anniversary this March with the return of their popular series Shrugged. The second release in the publisher’s “10 for 10” initiative, that will feature ten new series releases over a span of ten months, Aspen will release Shrugged #1 on March 13th, 2013. From creators Michael Turner and Frank Mastromauro, and the art team of Jonathan Marks and Beth Sotelo, Shrugged marks the first returning Aspen property of 2013.

SOLICITATIONS: Aspen Comics announces Shrugged

As their second release in their tenth anniversary “10 for 10” initiative, Aspen Comics is returning to the world of Perspecta and their popular series Shrugged. Created by Michael Turner and Frank Mastromauro, Shrugged will feature a mix of both a returning and brand new art team. The official Aspen solicitation for the new series reads:

You think you’re prepared, but you’re not. You’ve been decisive in your actions up to this point, but now things have been turned upside down. You feel you’ve conformed your mindset and are ready to accept what you’re about to experience, but you haven’t. That’s because SHRUGGED is back and ready to blow your mind!

DIGITAL COMICS: Aspen’s Charismagic: Sparkles go to Make A Wish Foundation

Aspen Comics is set to release Charismagic: Sparkles, a special Charity Issue Digital-Exclusive 11-page short story from the universe of their critically acclaimed, magical-adventure series Charismagic on November 21st . Aspen has also pledged to donate all of their proceeds for this issue to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

SDCC’09: Aspen Comics

San Diego Comic Con International 2009 will take center stage as Aspen Comics unveils brand new titles and debuts a host of exciting SDCC exclusives and more for the largest comic book convention in the world. In addition to rare convention comic books, Aspen is arriving in San Diego in full force to meet and greet with the fans. Frank Mastromauro, Peter Steigerwald, Vince Hernandez, Mark Roslan, J.T. Krul, Joe Benitez, Ale Garza, Micah Gunnell, Beth Sotelo, Francisco Herrera, and more surprise Aspen guests will be on-hand all weekend long to sign autographs and sketch at the Aspen Comics Booth #2321.
