I’ve always been a fan of when heroes from different universes meet (or clash, as the case may be). For instance, I would love to see a new Marvel/DC crossover take place. Justice League of America/Avengers is still one of my all-time favorite books!

REVIEW: Masters of the Universe: Origin of Skeletor
Skeletor earned his place as He-Man’s arch nemesis through various and sundry failed plans to overthrow the Eternian government and rule the planet. Megalomania is as megalomania does, but how did the dark wizard of Snake Mountain sink to the depths of his insanity? Read on in this Major Spoilers review.
REVIEW: He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe #1 (of 6)
Or – “The Biggest Question: Will They Use Orko?”

“I am Adam, Prince of Eternia and defender of the secrets of Castle Greyskull. Fabulous secret powers were revealed to me the day I held aloft my magic sword and said: “By the power of Greyskull! I have the Power!” I became He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe! Only a few others share this secret… Our friends: The Sorceress, Man-At-Arms and Orko. Together we defend Castle Greyskull from the evil forces of Skeletor!”
Did anyone else think that He-Man sounded just like Morris the Cat?
TOYS: Toy Guru talks Vykron
A few days ago we showed you what Mattel had in store for Masters of the Universe fans at this year’s San Diego Comic Con. Now we get a better explanation, and look, at Vykron.
TOYS: Mattel extends subscription deadline
![]()
Mattel has once again extended the deadline for their exclusive toy clubs. This is the second (and last) time the company has extended the deadline in hopes of getting enough people to sign up for the toy deal.
TOYS: Battleground Teela revealed
MattyCollector is showing off the packaging for the upcoming Masters of the Universe Classics Battleground Teela figure. The warrior goddess certainly looks different than her ’80s animated version, which I’m sure isn’t going to sit well with a lot of MOTU fans.
Battleground Teela goes on sale June 15, 2011.
SDCC’10: What happens to Prince Adam after the show?
I really love the life size and larger than life sized statues that the booths utilize during their major shows. Here is Mattel’s Prince Adam ready for today’s attendees to stand around shouting “I have the POWER!” Like I’m sure he’s never heard that one before…

I wonder what these companies do with the statues after the convention season is over?

Toy Fair 2010: Mattel shows off new action figures
If you are wondering what Mattel will be bringing to the toy table in 2010, take a gander at these images taken at the booth that spells it all out for you.
That Lobo animated figure comes to MattyCollector.com in the Spring
Mattel announces Evil-Lyn figure

Mattel has announced it will release Skeletor’s mistress of magic in April.
Evil-Lyn comes complete with staff, wand (with removbale swapable headpiece), Skreeech, bird armor and bird perch!
The figure will only be available at the Matty Collector website. I remember when Masters of the Universe toys were first released, and I watched the cartoon series whenever I could, but I do not remember half of the characters Mattel is pushing out. I guess memory loss comes with getting older.
Princess of Power arrives for Masters of the Universe collection
Those who really want to be completists when it comes to their action figure line, will want to pick up the Adora figure when it becomes availabe in January 2010. Mattel posted several images of the figure over on the Mattycollector Facebook page.
Battle damaged He-Man appears
Mattel is showing off the battle damaged He-Man variant, that allows players to change the chest plate to reflect any damage the protector of Eternia may suffer.
This toy does not feature a spinning tumble, but does include all three chest plates – standard, one smash, and my personal favorite, two smashes!
He also comes with his heroic Battle Axe just like in the famous painting of Battle Armor He-Man on top of Battle Cat. (anyone have the art book?)
Battle Armor He-Man goes on sale January 15, only at the MattCollector.com website.
