Who’s looking forward to Marvel’s The List series? (Quiet you, it’s supposed to be a rhetorical question) It’s supposed to be a big component of Dark Reign, and it kicks off in Dark Reign: The List Part One: Avengers arriving in stores on September 9, 2009. Marvel sent Major Spoilers a sneak peek of the issue, that you can see after the jump.

I doubt the coming event in the 616 is going to be as universe ending as in Ultimate universe, but Norman Osborn is set to reveal is master plan for Marvel in 2010, and it begins with The List series.
The List. This eight-issue limited series, comprised of eight double-sized specials, leads Marvel fans to the changes in store for the world’s most popular super heroes! The Iron Patriot decides there are things wrong with the world, things that need to be handled and when he’s done, the stage is set for the biggest comic book event of the next decade! Coinciding with the weekend of San Diego Comic-Con 2009, Radical Publishing, Gene Simmons and Nick Simmons will be hosting THE RADICAL EVENT AT THE HARD ROCK HOTEL in San Diego; An exclusive invitation-only rock concert extravaganza promoting the release of Nick Simmons’ first comic book title Incarnate. The event will feature live performances by Gene and Nick Simmons as well as a surprise performance from some very special guests.
I’m not sure the Intardwebz were aflame this week over the announcement that J. Michael Straczynski was leaving Thor in September, but it sure had a great number of you concerned – especially when it comes to dangling storylines. Fortuantely, Marvel released more information about the changes ahead, that you can read after the jump.

Radical Publishing is doing something new with its titles, it’s moving away from six issue series to 52-page three-issue miniseries for $4.99. Twice as much comics for half the price? I’m sold. Take the jump to see the cover images and solicitation information for titles arriving in August 2009.
The final issue of the Shrapnel: Aristeia Rising issue arrives on May 6, 2009. While it is the final issue of the mini-series, Gianluca Glazer, Director of Marketing for Radical Publishing tells us two more Shrapnel mini-series are on coming down the pipe.
