BCC’12: Vertigo creators headed to Baltimore convention

Talented creators from DC Entertainment’s Vertigo imprint will be in attendance at this year’s Baltimore Comic-Con. The show, which will be held at the Baltimore Convention Center, will take place the weekend of September 8-9, 2012. Joining the growing list of guests are Mark Buckingham, Garth Ennis, Jeff Lemire, Scott Snyder, and Chrissie Zullo.

The Baltimore Comic-Con is happy to announce the addition of Mark Buckingham to the “British Invasion” taking place at this year’s show, which will be held on September 8-9, 2012 at the Baltimore Convention Center. Buckingham joins already-announced British creators Brian Bolland and Barry Kitson for the 13th annual show.

Vertigo has known for some time that it has something special with Bill Willingham’s Fables. And I’m sure Bill Willingham knows he has something special with Fables too. And even though some of the story arcs these past couple of years have been hit and miss at times, Willingham continues to deliver interesting tales of the struggles between the fables and the villains of the home world, and this issue is no exception.
