Can you believe that Amazing Spider-Man has reached 600 issues?  Then maybe you’ll believe Amazing Spider-Man #600 sold out at the distributor level (although copies may still be available from your local comic shop), prompting Marvel to send the issue back to press with a new cover featuring John Romita Jr.’s interior art on the cover.

Been a while since we posted info from Marvel about sold out issues.  The latest press release finds the Christos Gage and Mario Alberti X-Men/Spider-Man #1 issue gone at the distributor level, although you can probably find it at your LCS. No plans to go back to press for a reprint, which means one of two things will happen – the company will change its mind in a few days, or it is waiting for all four issues to ship and offer them in a collected edition a month after the final issue ships.
