and Cthulhu and mad scientists and a bunch of stupid people I can’t believe I’m still reading, yet alone reviewing, this series from DC Comics.  The premise is simple; Superman and Batman taking on Vampires and Werewolves.  It’s too bad the first two issues were missing one of the title characters.  Does this issue deliver the goods as the title proclaims?  And then some.  In this case, though, it isn’t a good thing.

Dark Horse Entertainment is bringing Eric Powell’s Goon to the big screen as a CG animated movie. Created by Eric Powell in 1999, the comic follows the adventures of a muscle-bound brawler who claims to be the primary enforcer for a feared mobster. The stories have a paranormal and comedic edge to them and concern ghosts, zombies, mad scientists and “skunk apes.” While no studio has been signed for distribution, Blur Studios will be doing the CG work.  There’s also no word if this will be an original tale, or an adaptation of one of the existing story arcs.  I
