Yes, MacGyver is back —in a fast-paced comic book mini-series co-written by his creator, Lee David Zlotoff and published by Image Comics. The first MacGyver story since the television show ended in 1992 kicks off on October 10 with the first issue of MACGYVER: FUGITIVE GAUNTLET.
During the Image Comics panel, it was announced the company is planning on bringing back everyone’s favorite Swiss Army Knife wielding hero – MacGyver. The mini-series, called “MacGuyver: Fugitive Gauntlet”, will be five issues and arrive next summer (2012). “I don’t want to give too much away, but there’s a gauntlet that MacGyver has to run, and he does it as a fugitive, hence the title,” writer Lee David Zlotoff said. “Let’s just say that someone with an axe to grind decides to play a game with him. He has to live out a week while every hitman in town
