And now a little bit of you can die as well, following Bea’s performance during the classically bad Star Wars Holiday Special.  If you can make it to the end, you’ll catch Bea singing. WOOT! Remember kids, this “special” featured the first appearance of Boba Fett!

Last night at the 2008 Scream Awards, Charles Roven, producer of the Dark Knight movie, let slip a little bit about the happenings at Warner and DC titles. Roven also told us that there is “no momentum” on comic book adaptation The Flash at Warner Bros. Pictures. That’s so sad for David Dobkin who was slated to direct the flick. With the confusion at the studio, most superhero films are going to be put on hold until Warner figures out if it wants to tell individual stories that build the the Justice League or a Justice League movie that spins

With the new direction Image Comics’ Invincible took in issue #50, one would expect the sales to drop off a little bit, but according to creator Robert Kirkman, that’s not the case. “It’s tradition for the issue after a milestone like fifty to taper off, but it certainly wasn’t the case here,” said Kirkman. “In fact, the combination of INVINCIBLE’s new costume, new sidekick and the totally kick-ass cover by Jim Lee made this the best selling issue yet. I was blissfully unaware of the sheer greed that went with such an event and the need to tie-in as much as humanly possible to make as much money. So when I saw the Secret Invasion banner on top of my X-Factor this past week, I was crestfallen. Not entirely surprised, just disappointed.

I think everyone saw this coming after the spectacular opening night the Dark Knight had in theaters.  It’s official now, The Dark Knight has officially pwned Spider-Man in the box office, taking in an estimated $155.3 million over the weekend.  Even at two hours and forty-one minutes, the Dark Knight was able to best the third installment of the wall crawler series by $4 million. “This is a career-capper for anybody who works on a film like this in our business,” Warners distribution president Dan Fellman said. “It’s a great ride, and it’s just beginning, Most of the big summer
