VIZ Media releases a poignant coming-of-age series that explores a budding relationship between a pair of high school boys with THAT BLUE SKY FEELING on August 14th.
Jeremy Owen is an independent comic book writer, artist and half the creative force behind Burly Press. He has drawn pinups for Henry and Glenn Forever and Ever, provides art for The Red Shirt Diaries companion webcomic A Night in the Enterprise and is presently self-publishing his semi-autobiogrphical superhero comic Bludgeon.
With today’s announcement that Alan Scott of Earth-2 is the new gay characters, James Robinson said other gay characters will appear in DC Comics. “There is another character down the line, but that character won’t be appearing for some time, so it’s probably a bit too early to talk about that, but this book will definitely have a diverse cast. Alan Scott won’t be the only gay character in Earth 2, I promise you that.” Who will it be? Does it matter? via The Advocate
The mystery is over, DC Comics has announced that Alan Scott, the Green Lantern (and only Green Lantern) of Earth 2, is the gay character that was first hinted at at KAPOW! a few weeks ago.
