Following the incredible success of the New York Times best-selling series of Avatar: The Last Airbender comics and the Avatar: The Last Airbender—The Art of the Animated Series art book, Dark Horse and Nickelodeon are collaborating on a gorgeous new art book that reveals previously unpublished art from the Legend of Korra animated series.
There are a few artists who really bring the human form to life. Terry Dodson has a way with the pen that results in imagery that I can’t stop looking at.
Following the success of the first half of season one of Legend of Korra, it makes sense that Nickelodeon would order season two of the series, but fans who attended the panel at the San Diego Comic-Con were in for a bigger surprise.
Someone took up the task of editing Nickelodeon’s Legend of Korra: Making of a Legend shorts into one long behind the scenes feature that must be watched by Korra fans.

We’ve been waiting for official word, and now Legend of Korra fans can rejoice – Nickelodeon has given a big thumbs up for a second season.
But here is the item most didn’t put together until recently – Korra is coming back next year as Season 1, Book 2, so this announcement really means there will be Season 2, Book 1.
Oh, yeah… three awesome story arcs for one of our favorite animated shows.
