For those of you angry that the Mike Judge, John Altschuler, Davi Krinsky comedy King of the Hill is getting the axe at Fox, you can stop sending your angry letters as it looks like ABC might pick up the series. If another network picks up “King of the Hill,” there’s a remote possibility the show could wind up airing on two nets at once, as Fox’s stockpile of original “King” episodes will keep the show on that net through next fall. It’s expected, however, that whichever network purchases the show would wait for the Fox broadcast window to conclude.

The antics of Hank, Peggy, and Bobby Hill are coming to an end at the end of this season.  Fox has opted not to renew King of the Hill for a fourteenth season.  Don’t feel bad for creators Greg Daniels and Matt Mike Judge, though, they have been on other projects for a while.  Daniels is currently the show runner on The Office, while Mike Judge is finishing up the Goode Family that will air on ABC midseason. That’s the battle cry heard over at Film Roman, the animation house famous for The Simpsons, King of the Hill, Rugrats and others, as Marvel Animation announced it is beginning production of The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
