Several of us at the Major Spoilers HQ have had the chance to look at an early copy of Batman: Year One this past week. The movie arrives on DVD on Tuesday (review coming soon), and included on the disc is a first look at Justice League: Doom.

Warner Home Video’s adaptation of Mark Waid’s Tower of Babel story is called Justice League Doom. It arrives on Blu-ray and DVD in February, but today we learned who will be voicing the Justice League.

DUELING REVIEW: Justice League #1
The big event is here! DC is putting a great deal of effort and resource into the relaunch/renumbering of all of its titles. With the end of Flashpoint #5, it’s time to turn our attention to Justice League #1, the place where the New 52 begins. Stephen and Matthew took time to examine the first issue and are ready to share their thoughts.
DC RELAUNCH: Diane Nelson weighs in
Diane Nelson, President DC Entertainment, just posted the following message on DC’s The Source website whee she talks about the relaunch.
When I put in place the new DC Entertainment executive team in February of last year, I asked them to think big and be bold – to adopt a “no fear” attitude toward the business we love. We set out to reinvigorate interest in comics, bring in new readers and make our characters and stories more accessible to the widest possible audience, all while respecting the core fans who are the foundation of our company. That’s exactly what the DC Entertainment team has done with the unprecedented roll-out of DC Comics – The New 52 and the launch of same day digital comics. I couldn’t be more proud of the team or the results.
Today’s release of JUSTICE LEAGUE #1 from Geoff and Jim kicks-off The New 52 and marks the culmination of a lot of hard work from all of our teams in New York and Burbank. We’re very excited to share of our efforts with you and I hope you join us in celebrating DC Comics – The New 52. Stay tuned; we have a lot more in store for you throughout September and beyond.

TALK BACK: Justice League #1
We will bring our Dueling Review coverage of Justice League #1 your way this afternoon when A) we get off work, and B) after we get our butts to the comic book store. DC RELAUNCH: New number ones may be best sellers for 2011
There is a really great article over at Hero Complex, where the LA Times reporter takes a look at DC’s Relaunch and the move to digital comics. One of the most important elements in the article is the mention that Justice League #1 has pre-orders over 200,000 copies.
