What will happen in the remaining episodes of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow? A trip to the past, a trip to the future, and some crazy fighting are the order of the day in this extended trailer from The CW.
To this day, I still can’t believe that Arrow is a show on The CW! Normally, programs on that channel are much more focused on relationships among teens and post-teens. Arrow, on the other hand, has its share of dialogue, but the action and the stories keep me gripped from episode to episode. This week, Barry Allen appears, and I can’t wait to see how they handle this hero-to-be. Then, too, Netflix is bringing Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist to live-action drama. And the Marvel movies are doing well at the box office.
Or – “A Man Destined To Be At The Center Of Time-Travel Shenanigans, No Matter The Universe…” The JLU version of Jonah Hex had an iconic moment when he identified the power of Chronos as the result of time-travel. When asked how he knew, he simply grunted, “Experience…” Now that Booster Gold has arrived in his turf, Hex is once again forced to deal with future greenhorns and their baggage, and it’s probably not going to be an easy row to hoe. Having defeated slowed the Followers of Cain from taking over Gotham City, there is little to keep Jonah Hex in the city. But Gotham doesn’t seem to want to let Hex go, and Hex is once again in the deep and smelly stuff this issue.
I’ve been back and forth on Jonah Hex since its return some 68 issues ago, but I do know I’m excited to see what happens in All-Star Western #1 that features Hex arriving in Gotham City in the 1800s. In ALL-STAR WESTERN #1, Jonah Hex is enlisted to help the Gotham Police Department solve the mystery of a vicious serial killer. “So much for Gotham being a one-horse town. Last week was Jonah Hex week at Comic Twart, and Tom Fowler stepped up to the plate with really great rendition of the scarred hero of the old west.
