With J.K. Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them landing in theaters this week, we are about to kick off a whole new run of flicks exploring the world of Harry Potter.  Though this movie won’t feature The Boy Who Lived, it does make us think about the kid with that nasty scar on his head. VOTE!  

I’m kind of excited to see Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. We’ve had a few trailers already, but there’s something about the trailer shared at Comic-Con that makes this look really fantastic.

Warner Bros. is all over it today releasing trailers for both the Suicide Squad and Fantastic Beats and Where to Find Them.

Earlier this week, we learned that J.K. Rowling has written three short tales for the Pottermore website that explores the history of magic in America. It’s all part of the promotion for the upcoming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them movie, but it is also information that is in continuity, which makes the reading material super valuable for Harry Potter fans. While J.K. Rowling may not be writing any new Harry Potter books, she is fleshing out the magical world of Harry Potter – more specifically, she’s building up the world of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them ahead of the movie’s release.

If you were worried that you wouldn’t be able to save up the money to fly to England to watch the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child play, you’ll be happy to learn you can buy the book in July.

So you have read the book, and now you are eager for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them to land in theaters. While you still have some time to go, at least you can satiate you desire by watching the first trailer, right now!
