Award-winning graphic novel publisher Archaia Entertainment and free-to-play video game publisher Meteor Entertainment have teamed up with comiXology to debut four, free exclusive digital preview issues of HAWKEN: GENESIS, a hardcover graphic novel based on the highly anticipated online video game, HAWKEN! Today marks the release of the first exclusive preview throughout comiXology’s revolutionary digital comics platform available across iPhone, iPad, Android, Kindle Fire, and the Web. This exclusive digital preview includes a special access code for HAWKEN’s third closed beta event, happening November 20th – December 6th 2012. SDCC’12: The Adventures of Retrobot game previews at convention

Endeavor Bros and Monkube today previewed their newest mobile game The Adventures of Retrobot at Comic-Con International: San Diego. A fusion of game and comic, The Adventures of Retrobot for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch pushes the boundaries of interactive graphic novel style stories intertwined with pick up and play gamer action. The game is set to hit the App Store mid-July and original digital and print comic series are planned to be available soon.

Disney Publishing Worldwide announced today that two more storybook app titles based on the original Marvel Origins series will join “The Amazing Spider-Man: An Origin Story” app, which launched last month. The new titles, both narrated by comic book legend Stan Lee, include “Avengers Origins: Hulk” and “Avengers Origins: Assemble!” which will be available for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch in February 2012.
