There was a lot of talk surrounding Fall of the Hulks Alpha when we featured on the site, so I’m guessing this sneak peek from Marvel of Fall of the Hulks Gamma will get a few of you to comment.

Marvel sent out one of their famous word balloon-less sneak peeks from the upcoming Fall of the Hulks Alpha that arrives in December. If you like your Hulk stories filled with Hulk villains, than you might want to take the jump.
Of all the incarnations of the Hulk, I think I like this one the best. And in the hands of the sculptors at Sideshow Collectibles, the Green Goliath moves into the realm of three dimensions.
Gotta love the Hulk #16 Deadpool McGuinness Variant cover.
Hulk #16 arrives on October 28, 2009, and features a cover price of $3.99.

Marvel Comics sent Major Spoilers a sneak peek of Strange Tales #2, that arrives in stores October 7, 2009. Take the jump to see what independent creators do when they get their hands on top Marvel characters.
Here’s some gravy to go along with the heaping helping of Ghost Rider 2 news we presented earlier – Marvel is developing a new Daredevil movie. Fortunately, instead of a sequel, this will be a reboot. Empire Online has no other information other than the fact that Ben Affleck won’t be involved in the project.
It’s odd that Marvel is going for a reboot of the Daredevil film when the director’s cut of the film was much better than the theatrical release. It’s certainly much better than the Ghost Rider film which Columbia seems to want to force down viewer’s throats. On the other hand, with Marvel trying to bring all its properties back in-house, rebooting the film (ala The Hulk) could do wonders for the crimson crime fighter.

If your a Marvel fan, and laugh with glee every time you hear the next chapter in the Siegel/Warner Bros. lawsuit, then that grin may quickly fade after news that the Jack Kirby estate has served notice to Marvel, Disney, Sony, Universal, 20th Century Fox, and Paramount Pictures, that it is terminating copyright.
It all boils down the Kirby estate trying to regain the rights of the characters Kirby created (a very extensive list that includes Captain America, The Fantastic Four, X-Men, The Avengers, Iron Man, Hulk, The Silver Surfer, and Thor, among others) and make money off someone. If the suit is successful, everything would hit the fan in 2014, when Kirby would own the copyright, but Marvel/Disney would own any trademarks.
Interestingly, the same law firm that represents the Siegel estate, Toberoff & Associates, is also representing the Kirby estate. Now sounds like a good time to be a dead creator that has a family looking to score big of changes in company structure and copyright law.
What will be the upshot of all of this? Millions spent in the courtroom trying to settle this argument, with the estate walking away with millions more, and the publisher still producing comic books feature the characters in question.
UPDATE: Here is Marvel’s official statement on the termination notice.
“Marvel received the termination notices and is reviewing the information and has no additional comment at this time.â€
Yikes. Sounds like it took them by surprise.
For the third issue of Strange Tales, Marvel looked to Stan Sakai to whip up a great Hulk cover in Sakai’s signature style.
I gotta say, I like the art style in this trailer for the upcoming Planet Hulk animated movie from Marvel.
Thanks for the heads-up Stacy B!
When Strange Tales #2 hits stores in October, readers will have to make a big decision; Red or Green?
