Marvel announced yet another Hulk title is heading our way – Hulk Smash Avengers kicks off in February and will be a five-issue weekly series. The series will focus on different eras of Hulk/Avengers history with a different creative team taking on the duties of each issue.

According to Marvel, only the Forgiven can stop the Hulk during the events of Fear Itself. The company sent along this teaser image for you to comment on… and I know you will.

According to ABC President Paul Lee, the network is still planning on two pilots based on Marvel properties.
He said the network is also continuing to develop “A.K.A. Jessica Jones” and Guillermo Del Toro’s “The Hulk,”
Well let’s see how much of a surprise this news is… ABC is owned by Disney. Disney owns Marvel. What will be more surprising is if the network doesn’t turn these pilots into ongoing series.

At the NY and Boston comic book conventions, artist Ryan Ottley was busy working on commissions. He recently updated his website with a selection of pieces from the show, and I got a real kick out of his Invincible/Hulk/Superman piece.
Or – “That OTHER Marvel Universe…”
There have been a lot of complaints about the event-driven nature of today’s comics industry but if you look hard enough, you can find books that don’t force you to tie in to everything else going on, and maybe even feature guest-appearances from people who aren’t X-Men. But, does that necessarily make them a better reading experience?
