In the film adaptation, Mindy is played by Chloë Moretz, for which this statue is modeled after. I’ve been a fan of John Romita Jr. since his run on Spider-Man decades ago, and have appreciated Mark Millar’s work since the early 90′s. When they work together, though, I find my opinion of their work to be all over the place. Can Hit-Girl get past the novelty value of a foul-mouthed 12 year old murderess? Though we were busy meeting new friends, and old fans at Nerdtacular 2012, that didn’t stop us from combing through the list of new comics coming out this week, and giving you a list of ten books you should read this week.
This past weekend, the 29th annual Heroes Convention was held in Charlotte, North Carolina. I was lucky enough to attend, and boy am I tired of hoofing it.
