REVIEW: Blue Beetle #9

Or – “Intergalactic!  Planetary!  Planetary, Intergalactic!”

I’m fascinated by how DC has handled their relaunched properties.  Now that the heroes have half a year’s issues or so under their belt, we’re starting to see crossovers occurring between titles that actually MAKE SENSE crossing over.  But, the question becomes, are the stories they’re telling advancing our characters, or just cross-pollinating the new world order?

TELEVISION: Young Justice and Green Lantern kick off DC Nation

Cartoon Network, Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment are teaming up to present DC Nation, a full hour of exclusive kids’ television programming and shorts based on DC Comics characters. Full of action and humor, DC Nation brings some of the most beloved and legendary heroes – as well as some lesser-known cult favorites – from the pages of DC Comics to the screens of a whole new generation of fans. Anchored by Green Lantern: The Animated Series and Young Justice, DC Nation will premiere Saturday, March 3, at 10 a.m. (ET, PT).

DIGITAL COMICS: Green Lantern and Detective Comics to offer combo pack deal

As DC moves more of it’s comics to the digital-day-and-date-release, it is also slowly increase the number of “digital combo packs.” These combos are print editions of comics with a redemption code inside to get a copy of the digital edition for “free.”
