I finally saw the trailer for the upcoming Surrogates movie leading into Terminator: Salvation. It looks pretty interesting, and I’m going to have to track down the graphic novel to see what it is all about.

Super Real Graphics dropped of a note to let us know that Super Real will return this summer with a new series climax, as well as the complete series graphic novel.
I had a chance to check out a couple issues of this series a couple of years ago, and for those into reality television and super heroes, with an indie bent, this series might just be for you.

At Major Spoilers, we’re all about getting as many different people into comics as we can. Ape Entertainment sent us a press release/solicitation announcement yesterday regarding the upcoming The Trouble with Katie Rogers. The book is squarely aimed at the female readers; so here is the question for our Lady Legion of Spoilerites; is this the kind of comics you would be interested in?
Press release, with the cover images and more information about the original graphic novel, after the jump.

Mike Raicht, writer of the current Army of Darkness series, has a new book coming out from Th3rd World Studios called The Stuff of Legend, that sounds really good.
The Story was created and penned by Mike Raicht (Army of Darkness) and Brian Smith, with pencils by newcomer Charles Paul Wilson III. Set during the height of World War II in 1944, The Stuff of Legend follows a group of toys on a grand and sometimes frightening adventure into a realm called The Dark to save their master from every child’s worst nightmare — The Boogeyman.
The best part is, the first 20 pages of the book will be available during Free Comic Book Day this weekend. And as a bonus, the creators and writers will be available at various comic book stores signing stuff.

Vampires are all the rage at the moment, which is probably why Tony Lee and Peter-Davis Douglas and Neil Antwerpen have cooked up a sequel to the original Dracula tale called From The Pages of Bram Stoker’s Dracula: Harker.
A ghostly visit from the past informs Jonathan Harker that the legacy of Count Dracula isn’t over, for there was one last bride, the Countess Von Gratz, otherwise known as the Countess Dracule, a Vampire never seen in the classic novel – and she intends to travel to London to reap revenge on the people who killed her late husband, as well as take for her own nefarious means the unborn child of Mina and Jonathan Harker.
According to Tony Lee, this is the first graphic novel sequel to get approval from the Stoker family.
‘We are honoured to have people such as Dacre Stoker, Ian Holt and Leslie Klinger involved in our book, if only in a small way.’ Said Harry Markos, publisher of AAM/Markosia. ‘Tony met with Leslie in January, then Dacre and Ian in New York in February, and since then they’ve been incredibly helpful and supportive of our project. With so many ‘sequels’ out there that have no loyalty to the original book, it’s great that a book that does stay faithful to its source material gets such a windfall.’
Cool…
Take the jump for a sneak peek of the series that arrives in October.

For the third week in a row, fans have flocked to their local comic book store for Angel: After the Fall! The hardcover graphic novel earned the sixth spot on The New York Times Best Seller List, marking the seventh week since the list began in March that IDW books have been ranked.
“We are truly flattered that fans love Angel so much,†says IDW’s Publisher/Editor-in-Chief, Chris Ryall. “Creator Joss Whedon and writer Brian Lynch have developed an amazing story about what happens to Angel after the TV show’s finale, and fans clearly can’t get enough.â€
Angel: After the Fall Volume 3, number six on this week’s Best Seller List, continues the adventures of Angel, Spike and the rest of the cast who survived the final episode and puts long-time friends-turned-enemies on a collision course.
“It’s pretty impressive that, even without a TV show, the books continue to attract such attention from fans,†added Ryall. “And overall, we’re very excited that IDW books have made the Best Seller List nearly every week since it started.â€
