All you need to do is wear a costume of your favorite Marvel character (but keep it family friendly!) and you could win the Grand Prize of a Marvel Omnibus signed by Stan Lee! All entrants may also be featured in a gallery on Marvel.Com! The winner will be determined by you, the fans, as you vote on who you want to be crowned this year’s winner!

The event takes place on Friday July 24, at 4:00 PM.

SDCC’09: You can be in an Archie Comic

Those attending the San Diego Comic-Con next week can enter for a chance to be drawn in an upcoming issue of Archie Comics.

Archie Comics will be giving away a Grand Prize at the San Diego Comic Con with one lucky winner appearing in a future Archie Comic, drawn by a famous Archie comic book artist! Names will be collected during the “Archie Comics: Archie Marries Veronica Panel” on Thursday July 23rd, 11:30-12:30 in Room 4. New Archie Comics co-CEO Jon Goldwater will pick the winner at the end of the panel. That person will be photographed to have their likeness included in a story where they get to meet Archie and his pals ‘n’ gals!

Considering this panel takes place at the same time as the Disney 3D, Middleman, and World of Warcraft panels, there’s probably a pretty good chance of winning.  I wonder if Julian will try to win, wearing a Major Spoilers T-shirt?

Oh boy, did we get a lot of people entering the second annual Major Spoilers Costume Contest.  There were over 50 entries from 20 entrants (yes, some people entered multiple times).  Personally, I think all those who entered the contest deserve kudos for taking the time to make their costume and sending it out for the world to see.  You can tell some of the entrants spent a great deal of time on their costumes, and really get into their work.

Without further ado, take the jump to see all the entrants for this year’s contest.
